Bawangong is sauteed garlic that tastes like bagoong(shrimp paste).
Bawang is the Filipino word for garlic. Some people are allergic to shrimp, while some don’t eat shrimp, like us. That’s why we invented, Bawangong! It’s bagoong made purely from garlic!

We love to eat. However, there are some foods that we believe are unclean for the body as stated in the Bible in Leviticus 11, like pork and crustaceans. We used to eat shrimp paste (Bagoong) but had to let go of it once we started observing these dietary laws from Scripture. So we ended up inventing Bawangong!
